California - Palm Springs - New Year's Eve

Will there be fireworks, or any other special events taking place in Palm Springs this New Year's Eve on Dec 31?

Hi there from Palm Springs... no fireworks here on new years! Im sure there are just tons of parties about town - there are lots of resorts here and they surely are holding parties.

Look in the Desert Sun. I think the weekend section runs on Friday and it will have lots of jazz dinners and whatever list. Reserve ASAP as they do fill-up.
