Hi,

I want to sell 2 awards tickets from Europe to Africa, or from Europe to US/Canada/Mex/Caribbean(those tickets can be issued to any name I choose).

There are various mileage brokers who could do the sale for me:

Does anyone have any experience with them (or others)? Are they reliable? Is there another way I could find someone interested by my tickets? Some forums for sell/buy airlines tickets maybe?

Thanks for your help!

Welcome to FlyerTalk, [B]bluetierra[B]! And expect to be admonished by a moderator very shortly for proposing to sell award tickets, very much a verboten subject here.

Careful. I gave a SW ticket to a relative who, it turns out, sold it to a broker. Next think I know my SW account is frozen, and now when I call to do anything I have to give them a super secret password (so there's no way I can claim fraud if it happens again).

It's againts the frequent flyer program rules and you can lose the miles in question and a lot more if they feel like it.

The above poster is right that it is generally against the terms and conditions of the various frequent traveler programs to sell miles and points. You risk having your rewards account frozen or confiscated and your elite status taken away.

What people tend to do instead is trade unwanted awards with others for awards that they can actually use. There is a forum called the "coupon connection" that allows you to do that here but you need to be a member for a certain period of time and have a certain number of quality posts. I think it is 90 days and I don't remember the number of posts. The info is in the FAQ.

You would be wise to edit your post so that it doesn't include the names of the mile brokers as you don't want to appear that you are trying to advertise them. We all know who they are (or can find them easily via search engine).

barter quietly for a fine bottle of wine or something like that between friends and family only. If I book an award ticket for a co-worker or for my relative and he/she buys me dinner for the effort, I dont think an airline has any trouble with that, but I wont be telling them that's what I did.

Dont say 'sell award tickets' ON HERE or anywhere.

The point has been made. Flyertalk is not an appropriate forum for these types of activities.
