Mileage Run Deals - UA: PHL-SFO (via IAD,PIT,DEN) $310

I was trying to set-up a mileage run, I think I've got this right..
I'm premier executive, so that's 100% increase on EQM:

PHL-IAD-PIT-DEN-SFO (500*2+500*2+1290*2+967*2) = 6,514
SFO-DEN-IAD-PIT-PHL (967*2+1452*2+500*2+500*2) = 6,838

total: 13,352 for $310 = 2.32cents/mile


good deal? thoughts? i mostly got this by fooling around on ITA, and using the FF calculator..................

You only get double RDM, not double EQM, so I think you will end up with:

6,676 EQM
13,352 RDM (2.3cpm)

Going through DEN doesn't add much of anything to your miles. Does the price drop if you can go PIT-SFO-PIT if possible? It's probably not worth the risk of a misconnect or cancellation. Swapping out DEN for ORD both ways only adds another 210 miles, so also not worthwhile. What about going through LAX instead of DEN? Bouncing up and down the coasts is usually preferable to stopping mid-continent.
