MilesBuzz! - c2it - which credit cards work (e.g. no cash advance fee)??

Just tried to use c2it with my Northwest VISA card - got slapped with a cash advance fee and interest. My Citibank card credits c2it transactions as 'purchases'.
Does anyone have experience using c2it with other mileage/point-earning credit cards? A friend of mine is trying to get connected to earn miles through this. Thanks!

You will not get charged if you use a Citi Card.
However, Citi does frown against sending money to yourself.
www.paypal.com (http://www.paypal.com) allows you to send money to anyone in the same way c2it does except there is never a cash advance charge.

Whenever my mom send me money time to time, I asked her to use PayPal, but she is worried about thier online security after hearing some hacker hacked into their transaction servers and stole credit card numbers last year.
I haven't used PayPal more than in a year myself. I know my visa/mastercard issuers won't charge me if such thing happens to me, but I am still concerned about using PayPal.

I would think if PayPal truly worked well with this, then wouldn't everyone be doing? I don't mean to be a pessimist, but I would be interested in trying it and just want to make sure it is legit, that is"bouncing" money to yourself to get points or miles on a credit card? It all seems too easy, the only limiting factor being your credit card limit.

SameerUCLA: I know for a fact that the Southwest Airlines Visa issued by First USA does treat C2it payments as cash advances and thus charges the cash advance fee as well as interest (I learned it the hard way!).
SJC_Traveler and TWAforever: As far as using PayPal perhaps I'm a bit naive but I have absolutely NO concerns about hackers at their site. I sell ALOT of high-end items on ebay and at least 75% of my buyers pay with PayPal and I state in my auctions that it is my preferred payment method, I've taken in over $5K in PayPal payments in the last month alone. As far as "bouncing" large amounts of money to yourself using PayPal forget about it - as I recall PayPal allows new users to accept a relatively small amount of money coming via credit card payments (approximately only $500 or so if my memory serves me correctly), once you've gone past that limit they charge commissions to recipients - PayPal charges me approximately 2.5% or so on all of the money that I receive.
Paypal now charges all users to recieve credit card payments. Plus, once you sign up to be able to recieve credit card payments, they then charge you to receice funds from bank accounts as well.
