Sorry if I'm using the wrong section for such topic. ^^a
As the title says, I'm planning to fly on MCO-SFO-ICN round trip leg during the springk break.
SFO-ICN leg is already booked on Asiana and need to worry about MCO-SFO leg. As I searched for flights, there were two options; one flying MCO-ATL-SFO on DL to arrive at 11AM and the other flying MCO-SFO nonstop on UA to arrive at 10:15AM. OZ flight leaves SFO at 1PM. The return leg (SFO-MCO) is nonstop on UA for both options.
The price was cheaper for DL, by $30. Also, as a KE Skypass Morning Calm member, I usually prefer to fly on Skyteam flights. Personally, they give a much better service. The fact that I can earn miles and get a elite advantage is also a factor.
Yet I slightly worry that the DL itinerary may not give enough time to explore around the airport and could risk myself missing a OZ flight for having a stop in ATL.
For UA, I heard their plane and service isn't necesarily the best. (Also in comparison, DL gives more service than UA.) However, this flight is obviously the safest as this is nonstop flight, and arrives quite early. Also, as OZ and UA is in Star Alliance, it could be slightly more convenient, such as through check-in, even though I'm not an elite for them.
So, What would you guys recommend? I'm quite lost...
Thanks for reading such a long post. ^^
