Other Hotel Programs - Select Guest - Omni Hotels

Has anybody had any experience with this program? I need to stay at an Omni Hotel in Washington in a few months for a conference, and they don't seem to be a part of any of the major brands.

Anybody know if they comp status/etc?

In case you haven't received this already, welcome to FT. It helps to do a search on these forums, especially since some topics, like this one, show up sporadically.

I know that most of the info here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=424766) is pretty useful for knowing how the Omni SG program works. It might be a bit outdated (10 months), but it's handy as a good start.

I don't know for sure whether there have been significant chances since January (besides the new policies on Omni Select Guest benefits), however.

Due to work requirements I've had to spend substantial time at different Omni's. The Select program is nice while you are staying at the property. You will get two free beverages delivered to you in the morning, at times they may also give you a room upgrade, other times a greeting snack basket. Omni appears to track your stay and send you discount coupons based on some schedule they've determined. However, you don't earn points as with most major hotel chains for free rooms, etc.

I'm wondering if I can get them to comp me to their SG Gold level, which according to their info only takes 6 stays in a 24 month period. I'm PC Gold and Ambassador at ICHotels, so perhaps I'll have some luck.
