Cathay Pacific Asia Miles - HKG lounge access if arriving CX, departing Dragon Air

I tried searching but came up empty: I am OW Emerald (AA) and will be arriving HKG on CX in C (from Narita) and departing on Dragon Air in C (for Dhaka) with about a two-hour layover. Given the OW lounge access rules I assume I don't have access to the CX lounges since I won't be departing on CX, but I still want to check. Does CX make exceptions for Dragon Air customers? For OW Emeralds? For people asking nicely? And if not, how's the Dragon Air lounge, if there is one?

You are correct - you don't have access to the CX lounges, although there's no harm in trying for an exception. The Dragonair lounge is fine though - better than pretty much any Admiral's Club, for example - free food and drink, albeit not to the standard of the F Wing.
