Starwood Preferred Guest - Change of Credit Card OK?

I'm sharing a room with my brother during our stay at the Sheraton Waikiki. I'll be staying only 4 nights but my brother will be staying an extra 3 nights. I'm using my own credit card for the first 4 nights of the stay and would like my brother to pay for the remaining nights on his own. Will the hotel clear up the charges up when I check out on the 5th day? And will they take a different credit card for the remaining nights? Has anyone tried this?

You should be able to close out the folio when you leave and have him use his credit card to settle up when he leaves.
