Hi Rach,

The Melbourne-Auckland flights are of course express class service with the standard economy meal offering on the route - on lunch services I believe the choice is currently a hot chicken tandoori sandwich or a hot ham and cheese sandwich.

The menu cycle for NZ longhaul flights changed a couple of weeks ago. On the AKL-SFO route, from memory we are currently serving a choice of chicken and bacon pasta or cottage pie, which is accompanied by salad, cheese and crackers, and Kapiti premium icecream for dessert. In addition to this, premium economy also receive the premium wine selection (including port, dessert wines, etc) and the premium cheeseboard.

The snack selection usually consists of fruit (apples, bananas, grapes), health bars (museli, etc), cassava vegetable crisps, savoury fried biscuit packs, and kiwifruit/manuka honey cookies.

Hope this helps!
