Air New Zealand Air Points - Booked NZ flights while drunk - how to verify key details?

Yes, considerably (at the time). Dates, times and costs are ok (NAN-AKL-SYD and back) but I noticed the e-ticket doesn't have key things like my passport number (vital for trouble free entry to Australia). The tickets are so called Smart Saver (eek - not an FT thing to do). I'm having phone trouble this evening so asking here just in case anyone has advise.

We've all done this before :o

AFAIK only option to find out is to ring up NZ and check (any time up til departure). You probably know smart saver fares earn no miles.

The AirNZ agents are really really nice (well mine are anyway) and will no doubt love to hear your story ....

Could have been worse. You might have booked to SDY (Richland Municipal United States) or something.

Thanks. The penny pinching (and daft routing where direct flights from NAN to SYD were available) was sadly deliberate as I have to justify the cost of locally booked tickets to my employer in an expense report (must be peak season because everything seems that bit more expensive at the moment).

That's some pretty mad skills to have to book a flight while intoxicated and still get the locations, times, and fares right.

If booking a flight, I'd be better off going to SDY than SDA. That would be a one-way trip. :D
