Asia - Please help me plan : Routing from SFO - DPS

Greetings,

I am trying to obtain the best possible routing i.e. - most amount of miles -from SFO to DPS from mid December to mid- January, very flexible on dates.

A couple of thoughts are :
SFO-ICN-KUL-DPS (Malaysian Airlines)
SFO-LHR-HKG-DPS (Air New Zealand combined with some budget Asian Airline)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated !

Well, if you are TRULY looking to maximize miles why not do a RTW fare with OneWorld or Star Alliance? With *A, you could do something like SFO-IAD-JNB-SIN-DPS, DPS-SIN-BKK-HKG-NRT-ICN-SFO. For business departing from USA that would run approx. 7500.

Otherwise, SFO-SYD-SIN-DPS might be interesting but based on fares SFO-SYD will be $$$$$$. Try looking into it as 2 one-way fares and look at returning from CGK (Jakarta); I almost always find fares from Jakarta are much lower than elsewhere in Asia. You might be able to get CGK-SIN-HKG-SFO on SQ in F for $2000 if you shop around.
