Emirates Airlines Skywards - Baggage Allowance for UA/EK RTW in C

I'm in the process of ticketing a RTW in C from BKK on UA/EK. I've asked the guy I'm dealing with at UA in BKK what the baggage allowances are for the trip and he said that for the non US portion its 30 Kg and for US connections its 2 pcs. I always thought that on a RTW that goes thru the USA the entire trip was entitled to 2 pcs. Is this correct and if so can someone give me a rule that I can tell this guy?

On the UA sectors:

The UA international baggage rule applies whatever it is.
