Hmm....Im faced with the decision on an upcoming rental at TPA for either a Dodge Charger or a Nissan Murrano. Supprisingly, they come in around $10 cheaper per day then the Toyota Corolla I originally had reserved

Anyways, my real question would be, in the Fun Collection, what are the odds I will end up with a V6 Charger? I wouldn't be intrested in the car if I couldn't get the R/T version  Also, I haven't had the chance to ride in a Murano and was wondering which model/trim Hertz uses and if its worth renting over the Charger...Thanks!

I'd take the Charger over the Murano regardless of which Charger model they have...but that's just personal preference as I hate the look of the Murano and love the Charger.

Most of the Muranos I've had had been S or SL models, with no navigation system. Personally, I'd take the Charger (unless it was a 2.7L model), but the Murano is still a fun ride for an SUV.

Take the Murano!

There's a significant chance the Charger will be the 2.7 model that's slow as hell. Every Murano has that great 3.5 V6, handles well, and has great visibility. I ran into the same thing--I got a Murano for less than a Focus, but I ended up loving it--until somebody broke into it and I had to switch it out for an Explorer since the window was smashed...

I've rented the Charger/Magnum/300C about ten times this year and only one did not have the Hemi engine. They all had Serius Sat radio as well.

Even the 300C I had with the V6 was pretty decent. I'm just not a big fan of the Murano, looks like a Ford Focus on steroids.

Of course you are PC though, im just a lowly "Gold" member. My wife is a big fan of the 300C, as she drives one here at home. Ive switched the ressie over to that vehicle as she will be doing alot of driving while I will be working :(
