Try NW Japan English website. You could check the availability and book award ticket on partner airlines, even on JAL. railroadtycoon Nov 15, 06, 9:33 am NW Japan website gotta love it. Good for looking up availability, but you'll have to call the US reservation line (if you are in the US), as you cannot book award tickets on the NW Japan website unless you have a mailing address in Japan. slippahs Nov 15, 06, 11:19 am How far in advance do you have to use miles? So long as you book it on nwa.com, you can get an award ticket right up to travel. If you're not Plat and have to call in to book a ticket, there'll be a $50 charge if you book within 10 days of travel, IIRC. http://www.nwa.com/worldperks/travel/options.shtml threeuncle Nov 15, 06, 10:48 pm It's pretty decent but there are black-out days. Sometimes you have to spend more points for ticket redemption. diapickle Nov 16, 06, 12:38 am If you're not Plat and have to call in to book a ticket, there'll be a $50 charge if you book within 10 days of travel, IIRC. $50 applies only if you are booking for someone other than yourself within the 10-day window. slippahs Nov 16, 06, 12:46 am $50 applies only if you are booking for someone other than yourself within the 10-day window. Ah yes you're correct. I didn't read that fine print. |
