Hi all

Am flying to BKK for the weekend and since the FLYAOW tool stopped working I haven't been able to figure out how to find seat availability / flight loads for CX. Has anyone got a link to a working tool?

Am flying CX703 on the way out and CX702 on the way back, and am wondering whether saying a prayer to the upgrade gods might make them smile on two MPC Silver FTers over the weekend...?

Thanks for any help :)

You could certainly sign up on expertflyer.com
For only $5 a month, you can check availibility and seat map.

Yeap, the once in a month "loading requests" thread is due again. And today's request is to Bangkok, while previously LAX and SYD were requested, or maybe I was confusing this or CT. Regardless

pacificboot recommends: KVS Availability Tool avaiable at our own FT, much cheaper and easier to use

Sarcasm aside, thank you for the link. I will try it tonight.

Until a few months ago, I was doing the HKG-BKK commute almost weekly on CX. The J cabin was usually pretty full I'm afraid, except for flights around HK holidays when they whole plane would be packed.

Remember that you can buy a Y-J upgrade at check-in for the BKK-HKG leg at check-in if there's space. THB 5,000 and your original economy ticket must be a miles-earning sub-class to be eligible.

Hey meerkat - thanks for that info! Given that the flight is only a couple of hours, we're not too fussed but it would be a pleasant surprise.

Ms NKHK got upgraded on these flights a few months ago when travelling with a MPC Gold friend, so there's always hope :)

For those who are unwilling to pay for KVS or expertflyer, there does appear to be another site to search for this type of information, as found in a thread on the UA forum:
