Air New Zealand Air Points - Koru Lounge wireless

I'm now in the WLG domestic Koru Lounge using their free wifi hotspot. I've used it often since it became available, and it makes a huge difference. ^
Which Koru/NZ lounges do/do not have (free) wifi access?

SYD has free Wi-Fi the last time I was there.
MEL (that quasi-lounge with UA) doesn't.

Nope it didn't at least of 10 days ago (and neither does LAX iirc). AKL intl does (although with a code)

No WiFi in MEL, or WLG International - atleast as of 10 days or so ago.
AKL Domestic also has WiFi.

In the CHC lounge yesterday, I heard the old familiar 'dial-up' modem sounds a number of times. Ah blast from the past....
So I assume most likely no Wi-Fi there..
Cheers

MEL can only pick up a telstra hotspot. Have to pay though. You can probably pick up the SQ signal if you venture into the RCC.

I'm pretty sure LAX has wireless now - was in the Air Canada lounge a few weeks ago and saw a signal from the Koru lounge next door. If not then you can probably just connect to the AC lounge's access point!

This depends on what time of day you're in there. When I was on UA, the SKL was closed :( and no Wi-Fi was available. So the SKL turns on the Wi-Fi when it's open between these hours:
3 hours before flight departure
Winter: 0710 - 1010 hours; 1250 - 1550 hours; 2150 - 0050 hours
Summer: 0810 - 1110 hours; 1420 - 1720 hours; 2150 - 0050 hours
LAX KC does have free wifi, however you need the codes to log on.

Now in the CHC dom Koru Club, posting wirelessly from the new free wifi. Same set up as WLG and others. It's been in place for a month, apparently. CHC airport also now has a fee based wifi service.

My pet peeve (as an IT Manager) and *AG member is that in domestic locations, AirNZ use a subtly different WiFi network ID at every location. We have tech illiterate execs who travel frequently, and this causes them (and subsequently ourselves) a huge amount of stress.
I might email the domestic service a suggestion!

I have used WLG domestic and both AKL lounges this year. Login and Password were common.
Last year NZ did keep changing them.

I think what kiwiTravller was referring to is the network name being different 'koruclub2', 'KoruClub2', etc. The best solution I've found is to use Mobile Cellular Data cards.
