I LOVE jetBlue! Just got my TrueBlue email statement.
Two extra TrueBlue points for Online Check in. I assume per segment? When does this end? Hopefully never. :)
Free booze (one drink) on flights until Dec 31 2006 by flashing the jetBlue AmEx. That rocks!

YES! Got the email today. I recall jetBlue offering this same promotion last year. I think it ended in January. Hopefully this offer will last a few months - online checkin definitely helps lower costs across the board. Therefore, it's an incentive for customers to utilize it and it pays off for jetBlue to offer it!
I wonder if this offer will be valid for award tickets. My next 4 flights (Thanksgiving, Christmas) are award tickets so hopefully I can still earn the 4 points r/t for each trip!

I checked the Manage Your Flights page tonight and it says that the 2 points for online check-in is valid from November 20 through January 4. The TrueBlue Statement didn't mention any dates, so I'll check if I get the extra 2 points for my flights next week. If not, this will still be a nice bonus for my December travel!

Just a quick update...called jetBlue to see if the 2 bonus points would be earned on an award ticket - and from the TrueBlue desk, Yes!!!
As Bill stated above, you must fly on any date between Nov. 20 and Jan. 4. This will definitely benefit all OLCI (I like that new acronym!) holiday customers!!

Well I can't take credit.
I am a V-Flyer member; a forum about Virgin Atlantic Airways. Sorta like FT (FlyerTalk) but focused on Virgin Atlantic. We check-in using DTCI then FastTrack to the CH or use PP to access a lounge prior to boarding the VS flight in UCS, PE or Y; all from LHR, MAN, or LGW (and sorta Glasgow this coming IIRC) TT4N. KYPHS (I made that one up, Keep your pimp hand strong).

As much as I love jetBlue online everything (check in, booking, etc.): I do have one ongoing complaint:
I wish that there was a designated bag despository line for people who checked in online INSIDE the terminal building. Right now, the dedicated line for people who planned ahead, but need to check bags, is only curbside. On several occasions, its been too hot, too cold, or rainy to want to stand outside. When that happens, I go inside to check bags, only to get a little unnecessary attitude from the agent for not using the line outside.
If there isn't going to be a designated online bag check line inside the terminal as well as outside, then quite honestly, OLCI loses its luster for me some of the tmie.

I'm a crewmember in BOS, we have dedicated lines for bag drop. This is the self service bag drop line where you drop your bags after either checking in online or at a kiosk. This line is for bag drop only and will not change seats, change flights, etc, as that is for the counter service line. The wait time depends on the loads for the day (ie during Thanksgiving it was about 5-6 mins). But typically you don't have to wait more than 1 or 2 mins at most.
I'm not sure how it is at other stations, but we run pretty smoothly in BOS.

JAX2BOS, welcome to FT. It's nice having B6 employees around.

My point is that if you check in online, and don't want to stand outside at JFK, you end up on the very same line as everyone using the kiosks. If the point is to encourage OCLI with a shorter process, I would prefer not to be subject to the potential of cold, rainy, or humid weather outside the terminal.
