Does anyone know what the latest hot clubs are for Friday and Saturday nights. I heard there is an 'unofficial hot club' for everyday of the week. Looking for a place that has good dance music.
Also how much would I have to tip the bouncer to get my wife and I in without having to wait forever. $20, $50 ?

GOOD LUCK....try $100 if you know someone or are someone high on a hotel list....also this is if you get to the front of the liine...
if that doesn't work, try calling some of the PARTY VIP's websites....they will take care of these issues...

Monday: Foundation Rooms at Mandalay Bay
Tuesday: Pure
Wednesday: Tangerine
Thursday: Tryst
Friday: Pure or Tao
Saturday: Pure or Tao
Sunday: In the morning Rehab, evening Light
Elbow your way to the front of any line there is, and say something like 'im not really into the waiting thing, is there anything you can do about it?' and make sure he can see the $100 in your hand. ($100 for Pure and Tao, everything else should be ok with $50)

Pure and Tao is correct. Not sure about the bribe but $100 sounds right.

My question to you, is what is your objective when you go "clubbing"?

not necessarily true- often still a wait even with bottle service and/or VIP list..
sometimes, if you have dinner in the high end restaurant in the casino, the host(ess) will walk you in the back door, but that's still going to cost you..

I can't think of any cases where paid for bottle service results in a wait. Are we talking about the same thing? Paid for bottle service is done with a phoned in reservation, and the table is waiting for you. As for the high-end restaurant as a way to quick entry, yes, that at least was the case last time we stayed at THEhotel.
I'm more interested in my second question: What is the objective of "clubbing" for the OP?

We've never done that type of clubbing in the US and back at home would never do long queueing and/or tipping the doorman $100, nor be dressed to kill/appear like a freak. I know here booking a table with a bottle of champagne, regardless of how money person are attending, would be doable.
So the question is, in LV, can I book a table with a bottle of champagne for two and get in easily? What would it cost (about)? We will be in LV over the christmas so it's relatively quiet anyway.

Waste a perfectly good evening hanging out in a packed room with loud annoying music, paying lots of moolah in the off chance that they may get their ashes hauled by some 2:00 AM last call leftover? I think hiring a hooker is a lot cheaper and more certain.

I can. Pure, has a massive mess at the front with people pushing and all saying how important they are. There is no separate line for tables, and no one else will talk to you. Busy weekend, expect to spend 30 mins pushing your way to the front, and tipping the guy.
Tao and Tryst are better managed, not too hard, though at Tryst you'll still wait a few minutes as the work the line pulling people with tables out of the line.

However, the OP is married in this case, and is taking his wife with him "clubbing." So my question still stands. What is his objective of clubbing in one of these ultra-lounges?

July 2006 - Reservation for a table at Body English in the Hard Rock with a host from the club; assured no line, no wait in the scrum, be there at a certain time for guarantee that he'll be waiting for us and will bring us past the crowd like we're royalty. Show up, on time, with the appropriate amount of people, appropriately dressed, to madness. Long story short, while the normal line barely moved during the hour we waited, and they were only admitting groups of women, he eventually did bring us through the crowd and into a table upstairs, the proceeded to try and shake me down for $600. We went back and forth a bit and eventually settled on $300, and still had a four bottle minimum.
Tao and Pure both have similar issues at the door on the VIP/Reserved Table Service lines in that the clubs often overbook the tables to ensure they're full. People also view this area as the 'greasing' area and clog it up.
I've used restaurant hosts and it's much smoother and easier all around.

I was at Pure this past weekend (Fri night). It was kind of a unique situation - I was in Vegas on a work trip with a bunch of guys in their 50's. Not surprisingly, none of them wanted to go. No problem, I went out solo (still had a blast!)
Showed up at Pure right around 10:00pm (when they open), and the regular line was long, over 100 people deep. Made my way to the VIP entrance, told them I was staying at Caesars (which was true, but nobody actually checked that out), and proceeded to wait about 30 minutes. In the meantime, those with table reservation walked up to the bouncer, and pretty much walked right in. Groups of women were also let in w/minimal wait (and no cover, from what I heard).
I eventually made it in (after a $30 cover charge), and had a great time. Dennis Rodman was hanging out near the dance floor for a good part of the evening!

Is "Rain" still hot? Its been a couple years since I've been there, so would be interested in recent experiences.
Also, if they put you on the "guestlist" there, does that mean you get to skip the line? Does it mean free cover or not?
THANKS!

Skip Rain, it's pretty much old in Vegas style. For Fridays and Saturdays, I would recommend Tao, Pure, Body English, Tryst and Jet. Bottle service can be very pricey. It depends on location of the table. If you are only going with your wife, I wouldn't do bottle service. They don't even cut you a break on a bottle of Champagne. They still want over $300. If you and your wife got to the club early, you should not have a problem getting in. Although a tip certainly helps, make sure your wife gets noticed by the doorman, they don't want a bunch of sausages in their clubs.
I've stated this before on here, I would recommend a drink before the clubs at Caramel in the Bellagio, then maybe even go to Light(club in the Bellagio).
Bottles at the hot clubs now starting at $425. They will say $375, but that will be some crappy bottle.
BTW, clubbing in Vegas is great. Nothing like seeing a bunch of people get dressed up, pretend they are someone for a night or weekend and have a great time. Who doesn't like seeing the women in their sexy outfits?

I don't know about the ebay passes, I use the Benjamin (or Jackson x 2) pass :D and always go to the front of the line. (Though, my experience is limited to Tryst and Pure)

$100 should do it, but YMMV --- of course, if you have the $$$$; why not just reserve a table. Others on FlyerTalk can give you more info on that; I only join those who have their own tables (or a private party) and prefer to drink their $450 Belvedere.... (I am morally opposed to paying for drinks in Las Vegas)

We are doing table service 1 night, Grey Goose not Belvedere I think:D. Along with a bottle of Jack for the other 2 it should see us right.
I don't really want to do table service every night as you are kind of locked in to where you go then, would be gutting to meet some birds at the pool and be going to a different club. Plus I like to move about in clubs.
I don't know what to expect from the billy bigtime with the guestlist as I don't know him, one of the other guys is sorting it, will probably get laughed at.

I like to move around a lot -- that being a case, one of the least expensive and MOST fun things to do is get a stretch limo for 3-5 hours. Advantages :
(a) You can stock the bar in the limo (just make the first stop the liquor store); of course, make sure they give you proper glassware and ice (casino VIP services will arrange this... even if you are paying for the limo)
(b) You can go from property to property -- properly get lubricated in the limo and spend less $$$$ drinking in the clubs.
(c) If you meet some nice girls --- and you will, since UK accents are much loved by Vegas Woman -- you can invite them back to the limo (just make sure --- get a decent sized limo)
(d) flexibility...flexibility..flexibility... --- and, you can vist off strip classics like the Double Down Saloon (http://www.doubledownsaloon.com/) --- No trip to Vegas (IMHO) is complete without a** juice shots and a Bacon Martini !

I just came back from Vegas and visited Pure on Tuesday, Tangerine on Wednesday, and Tryst on Thursday, coincidentally the same order as listed above. Had a hookup on Friday to get into Studio 54, but I ended up hanging out with Roller Girls (http://rollercon.net/) at the Black and Blue Ball most of the night. I spent alot of time in lines as I'm too cheap to be flashing 100s. For the cheap guys, its definitely worth it to get the VIP passes that you can buy on the street for a few bucks. Most times (they don't always accept them), it'll save you 20 or 30 bucks when you finally make it to the front of the line. The people with more money should probably go HERE (http://www.vegas-passport.com/) and buy one of the packs. A bouncer tipped me off to the Vegas Passport thing. These passes are the ones that get you in the short line or head of line privileges.
I'll say this. If you're going there to pick up women, you better be good. While there are lots of amazing women at these clubs, the competition from the guys is fierce...

this is not spam, and I've used them before with success. Keep an eye on napkinnights dot com...they have limited 'guests' that they can add to guest lists at clubs. shorter lines if any wait at all. Some are women only, but guys can tag along and pay. Used this at TAO on more than one occasion and have been pleased.

the best way to get into these clubs is to stay at the high end properties...stayed at skylofts...got great seats at KA, reservatons at SKY Blue and Pearl and got into Foundation room and Tao without having to pay the bribe. At Tao I had to buy the bottle service, but foundation room, got a private table...no bottle service !!!

P. Diddy Hosts the VMA After-Party at LAX
September 9, 2007
LAX Nightclub was built for a king on Sunday night as P.Diddy and DJ AM hosted a star studded VMA after party. Entering the club wearing a jeweled crown and gold medallions, Diddy reigned supreme over the entire VIP stage. With DJ AM spinning hit after hit, Diddy grabbed the microphone and began his impromptu emceeing for the evening. With the packed house in frenzy from the duo of Diddy and DJ AM, Britney Spears entered the club and hung out with a small group before leaving for the evening. Seated at the table just next to Diddy was Paris Hilton who was joined by Palms owner George Maloof and local funnyman Jeff Beacher.
LAX just opened around Labor Day.

I usually go with a large group that wanders from casino to casino, and we "rotate" in and out of the line while others get drinks, hit the tables, etc. We never wait more than a half hour, since the group is mostly women and they often pull us out of the line early.
The eBay passes do work. They don't get you any special "VIP" treatment, just a free cover. However, when you are a group of 8 paying $20-$40 covers numerous times over the weekend, it is a huge savings. Besides, if you just paid a whopping cover/bribe to get in and you are not having a good time, it is very frustrating. With the passes, you just finish your drink and head off to the next club!
I just contacted a seller on eBay and bought about 50 passes for my upcoming trip at about a dollar each. I couldn't imagine paying a half-dozen $100 bribes per person all weekend.

I realize it'll be a bit more... but having a table and such will make up any cost savings by not standing in line, buying at a bar etc.

>>If you ever wait more then half a minute, you're doing something very wrong...
Just got back from LV, used the eBay passes all weekend. Waited less than 5 minutes in each line (having a group of mostly women helped). Since we had a large group and people were coming and going, there was no way that we were going to hand over a stack of $100 bills at every club to save a few minutes.
The doorman at Rain tried to shake us down:
"you know, you could pay me and not have to wait in that line"
"yeah, but there are only 5 people in line"
"well, that could be a half hour wait"
"we'll take our chances"
Another doorman let us in about 60 seconds later.
I suppose if dropping big bills to walk through a different entrance makes you feel important, than go for it.

I had no problems getting into any of the clubs, although I think(99%) it may have been the girls I was with. Only had to pay cover once, which was good because on the Saturday we hit a few clubs although none were that good. Thursday and Sunday nights at Tryst were by far the best nights with the best crowd. My next Vegas trip I think I will arrive late Saturday night stay off strip then stay on strip till Friday. Was hoping to get out in October but now looks like next May:eek:
