We are leaving for Vietnam next week. We have secured tix from SFO to SGN; however we have been struggling to secure airline tix for itinerary as follows:
SGN to REP
REP to SGN to DAD
DAD to SGN
I can't seem to navigate pacific airlines website (http://www.pacificairlines.com.vn/) to book tix. And a travel agency recommendation for cheaper airfare has also fallen through.
Should I just book on Expedia? What's the best way (travel agency in Saigon) to proceed?
Any advice would be very appreciated.

Zuji and expedia will work, but you will need to expedite the shipping as VN airlines does not do electronic ticketing. They will need to send you paper tickets. If you do not want to risk having them not show up, then you might just buy them there, which is possible, and sometimes cheaper, but not by much. Vietnam airlines has the only nonstops that I know of between REP and SGN.
I will be there later this month as well. Enjoy!

I did a SGN to REP this summer, bought the ticket on expedia, got there & was told that since I had bought the ticket outside the country I had to go to the city ticket office to get confirmed & a spiffy sticker or something stuck to the ticket. It all went flawlessly (though the opening hours of the city ticket office were a bit iffy -- not quite what was posted, but for the better, causing a bit of panic until I found that out), but I thought I'd mention this as you decide how to handle it.

Just buy them when you get to SGN. They are cheaper and they have 6 flights/day to chose from between SGN and REP. Main VN Airlines ticket office is at 116 Nguyen Hue D1 823 0320, or you can buy from any local travel agent.

Thanks for the speedy responses and the great advice. It's good to know that if we get tickets out of the country, we'd have to get that sticker beforehand. Nice to know and plan ahead of time, so we don't freak out on the day of travel.

"Out of the country" doesn't make sense to me. We bought our tickets in another country (Thailand) last year and had no problems such as this. Perhaps there was another issue?
