Hey that's my local newspaper.

It's surprising the number of Airbus planes I see overhead everyday that still have AW colors, even most of the ones that have been repainted have the registration NxxxAS

Gee -- they actually painted Piedmont and Allegheney aircraft and are flying them around?! That's cool!

Here's the various paint jobs:
America West original (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1106119/M/)
America West pre-merger (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1057923/M/)
PSA (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1135895/M/)
Piedmont (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1123936/M/)
Allegheny (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1047391/M/)
Three at once plus old US Airways (http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1054381/M/)

I'm not sure if they're going to keep an all-navy blue heritage US Airways paint job.
