I'm still thinking about how this will affect bmi...sounds like a no going back for the LCC route any time soon.

According to R4 and WW who was interviewed, the deal is definitely on with Flybe and it's just a matter of the lawyers sorting out the paperwork.

On the face of it, this looks like good news for BMI who are predominantly a short haul business. It might not be too good for the consumer though! So, welcome all BAEC refugees from the regions!
Also, my plans to buy Qantas Club membership are on hold until I understand the whole BA/FlyBe thing.
