JetBlue TrueBlue - booking six to seven months out

I tried booking flights for May 2007 in October but the site was only booking seven months out. When November came around I thought it would let me book into May-- however it only books six months out. Whats up? One month you can book seven months out--then the next month its down to six months---is there a method to this? I've only flown Jet Blue once and enjoyed my experience --but this booking system has me confused. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all for your help.

JetBlue usually updates their calendar of available dates to book 3 to 4 times a year. Usually, they will update the calendar in November or December of the current year (2006) for the summer of the following year (2007).

This topic has been discussed endless times! JetBlue really has no method to opening future travel dates. As the poster above me stated, they update the schedules about 4 times a year. I would expect flights beyond April 30 (probably through August) to go on sale around late December/early January.
