JetBlue TrueBlue - hello, your bags are waiting for you.... (CLT)

So I get off a B6 flight in CLT and take my time -- I mean really take my time getting to baggage claim.

C'mon, how can you resist the big atrium window in terminal D where you can see planes taxing, taking off and landing?

My 4 yo boy also wants a pizza after that and I don't see too much opportunity to get pizza @ 10 AM between CLT airport and I-77, except for infront of the Budweiser Pub....

So we are sitting down to tuck into a gourmet Freschetta pizza as I get a call on my cell with the local 704 area code prefix. It is JetBlue telling me that my bags are waiting in baggage claim -- just making sure I hadn't forgotten them.

She also proceeds to explain to me that there is no baggage office at CLT and it would be great if I could come down and get them so they aren't out in the open by themselves.

I thought that was really nice of her to take the time to call me and let me know what was going on. I also have a feeling that she needed to get going and, you know, do something productive....

I didn't have to be anywhere yesterday, so I really took my time, but didn't think of the impact it could possibly have, I am truly sorry.

Impressive, the only time I've experience baggage service like this was at NGO by JAL. Long story in what happened...I'll save it for JAL .

GO B6!!!

Haha, that happened to me once with CO in IAH. I stopped at a restaurant airside in Terminal E to have lunch before driving home and they called me to make sure I was okay, because they had shown me on the flight but hadn't picked up my bags!
