Asia - Best Place in Bangkok to Celebrate Loi Krathong Festival Thailand?

Any ideas on where the best place in Bangkok to watch and celebrate Loi Krathong Festival?


We are staying at Peninsula, but the prices are OUTRAGOUS!

Try the Oriental Hotel's Thai restaurant next to the Peninsula. Otherwise - any riverside restaurant in central Bkk will do nicely.

I think Chiang Mai is actually the best place in Thailand to celebrate Loi Krathong. Loi Krathong 2009 falls on November 2, but the festivities start a few days before that.
