One would never expect to hear such a quote, well i can say it has been said. EL AL , have been favoured as a last minute airline for many travellers over the past few weeks, after all the problems that have been going on around the world.
Elal says that its passenger loads over the past 3 weeks have gone up almost 200% with nearly all flights from LAX,JFK & LHR being overbooked and in some cases needing another aircraft to handle the shear weight of passengers.
The reason for this says "Air International" is that "El Al security records and tight air marshalls on all aircraft give the passenger a sense of ease". Also rumour has it that the FAA have used a scale-down version of the ELAL security charter, for all US airlines.
