That's what shown on my award tix on NZ 1/2 last time.

Since when does EF support inventory searches on NZ let alone display "I" on NZ?

The documentation on the EF site doesn't mention any support for NZ at all:

I don't subscribe to EF.
I gave my answer just because I know I-class in NZ is the award seats booking class. If you want me to edit or delete my post, I will gladly to do so.

You can search ordinary inventory on NZ using ExpertFlyer, but not hidden award classes such as "I".
