El Al Matmid - LY Ticket with TG Miles

Anyone ever redeemed with TG to fly to Bangkok from Tel Aviv roudtrip? The El Al flight on that route codeshares with TG so I imagine it should be possible for about 45K miles when calculating the distance. Posting this in the TG forum got me no responses.

AFAIK, it is only possible if you have a Royal Orchid Plus account and flying on TG code (you will not get TG miles if you fly on LY code). Also no miles for *A accounts other than TG.

Thanks. I do have a Royal Orchid membership with miles in it. My questions is about redeeming, or cashing in the miles in order to get a TG ticket on the LY/TG codeshare flight. Anyone done this?

Apparently it is 50K TG miles to redeem for this trip. Now to see what kind of availability LY gives them.
