Las Vegas - Earning points at one casino but redeeming at another

We're staying at Circus Circus so it'll be convenient for us to spend some decent time playing there when winding down at the end of the day. However, I don't think there's anything we'd want comped there with the points we'll earn. Circus Circus is part of the "One Club" program. So, if I want to spend the points for something at another casino that's part of One Club, do I have to go to that particular casino to ask for it or can I go to the local One Club booth at Circus Circus get a comp for another casino?

You would have to go to the other casino. Are you sure you want to stay at Circus Circus??

:) I can't help it (sort of). There was this crazy package deal we found $365CDN for air, 3 nights, and taxes/fuel surcharge/etc. That's cheaper than air only seat sales from YVR. We're tossing around the idea of just skipping staying at CC and just staying somewhere else. Still thinking about that.

How crazy can it be 11pm mid-week in December? :)

I think most will tell you to skip the Circus stay, since the place is basically a dive, though, YMMV. :D

Also, mid-week December, you will find a lot of very good deals.

There is even a Caesars Deal (https://www.harrahs.com/MakeReservation.do?source=AVA00000016931&propCode=CLV&packageCode=PTRZO), with room upgrade and $25 F&B credit for $120 per night.

also, remember that the room rate at Circus midweek for a number of days in December is only $31.95 to $36.95.

What dates are you going??

Orleans is either $25 a night mid December or free (as there are some coupons that are going around not person specific)

Wynn is doing $159 a night with $50 dining credit and $25 slot play!!!!!

If this is your first foray to LV, please do yourself a favour and get another Hotel cheap, there are various silly offers around for the few weeks before Christmas. Keep the cheap package, just ditch CC, you'll be disappointed.

We're there Dec 3-7, M-Th. Unfortunately, that's the middle to end of National Finals Rodeo so we're not sure how busy it's going to be and what kind of rates are going to be available. We've only done some prelim searches on alternate accomodations so far. Ok deals but nothing worth jumping on asap. Didn't see the specials for the Orleans yet. $25/night is incredible too.

Third time to Vegas. Never visited CC on the first two trips so I been reading a lot of reviews to get a feel for it. The reviews obviously have not been flattering to say the least. :D
