I've never had status with hhonors, but have stayed there a few times - nothing in the past 3 years. I decided to sign up for the Amex card and throw some business their way. Anyway, I log onto my account and notice this:

That's a really long time.

I get this when trying to look at my VIP Tier:

As I recall, Punki got a Gold VIP card with a similar expiration date during the "Y2K" fuss.

I was trying to find her post, but Search is on the fritz again . . . :(

Edited to add: Search is now back up, so here (http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122773&highlight=2099) is one of the threads in which her 2099 Gold VIP Elite card is mentioned (not the initial one, though).

Maybe they have calculated that there is no way you will be any higher than BLUE until 2099?? ;)
