Is there anything I should do to prepare? Cruise ships DO take AmEx correct? What all would I be able to do with the Gold AmEx there? Or would it be different if I booked the cruise through AmEx? :confused:

plat has cruise priviledge partner program, which gets you onboard credit and sometimes upgrades
since you dont have plat, id say go through virtuoso for onboard credit and extras, but it sounds like youve already booked.
gold doesnt really do much besides gold card events and emergency travel assistance.

You'll need to call the cruise line to find out what they'll accept on board. When you embark, you'll be signing up for a charge card good for your length of trip, so you won't actually be using your credit card until the last night (on the ship.)
As for places in Bermuda, yes, many locations take American Express. However, be prepared to pay cash in some places, because last time I was there, my favorite restaurants and bars only took cash (American money was fine though.)
