I'll be on NZ 90 NRT-CHC-AKL in February - will we need to disembark in CHC and then reboard the a/c, or can we just stay in our seats and go through customs, immigration, etc. in AKL? Thanks!

Thanks! Kiwi Flyer Oct 24, 06, 1:21 pm Its been a while since I've flown it, but from memory you do have to deplane at CHC. Customs and immigration however are done in AKL (for those continuing through). air_boi Nov 1, 06, 12:29 am Its been a while since I've flown it, but from memory you do have to deplane at CHC. The only exception would be for a medical case (quite rare). sts603 Nov 11, 06, 1:05 pm I'll be on NZ 90 NRT-CHC-AKL in February - will we need to disembark in CHC and then reboard the a/c, or can we just stay in our seats and go through customs, immigration, etc. in AKL? Thanks! Yes - the area in the CHC international airport is very spacious, modern and not very crowded when NZ 90 comes through. There are places for food, coffee, stores, etc. |
