I was checking flights to/from SYR and it looks like the schedule gets a nice improvement on November 1. JFK-SYR still goes to 4x, but the times are much better (at least in my opinion) than what was in the June 1 press release.

The 7AM departure from JFK-SYR is back, and it will feed a morning SYR-MCO trip (replacing the afternoon trip). The flight from MCO-SYR in the afternoon feeds a 6:35PM SYR-JFK trip. I checked the electronic timetable and all flights should be A320s.

When JFK-SYR first started, and I was travelling to SYR for business regularly, the early morning/late evening combination was perfect for day-trips. That became much tougher when the schedule changed a few years ago. I'm glad to see it back!

Service to upstate New York has started to show its true potential again! I'd bet we start adding a few more flights once we get some more aircraft.

Plus, Albany has Southwest and Syracuse doesn't. We, in Syracuse, are so pleased to have JetBlue here! Albany has other options, we don't. JetBlue really has helped our fare situation overall. (Although air out of SYR is still pretty pricey) Southwest keeps the pressure on fares for Albany.
