Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer - SIN-EWR-DTW connection question, is 2hr sufficient?

Will be off to EWR on 24/10 on SQ22 which will land on 17:50.

My connecting flight would be NWA at the same terminal T2 taking off at 19:49.

As this is my first visit to EWR (had always landed at LAX), will this allow sufficient time to clear the immigration and for transferring the baggage?

Finally anyone on the same SIN-EWR segment?

It should be fine, assuming SQ arrive on time and you don't get held up in immigration or customs. Move quickly though, just in case. Remember, you will have to recheck your bags after you clear customs.

I've considered taking these flights before and there's enough time as long as SQ22 is not delayed. Clearing immigration at that time at EWR should be quick.
