Midwest - Guys Weekend

A bunch of my friends from college (25 or so) get together every summer for some kind of guys weekend. We have been renting house boats at Lake Cumberland, but are looking for something different this year. The requirements are generally a fun area with lots of bars and a younger crowd (most of us are in our 20's to early 30's). Any ideas?

I had thought about doing the Lake Michigan thing over around the dunes. Does anyone else have ideas?

We would generally like to stay in the midwest as this is where most are located. Thanks

Go to Chicago? You could golf (probably suburban location), do a Lake Michigan charter fishing outing, and have as much 'fun' as the crowd felt appropriate.

My first thought was also Chicago, but since the OP mentioned Lake Cumberland the group may be looking for something less urban. A lot of the Lake Michigan resort areas don't really cater to the twentysomething crowd, but Traverse City might work. Lots of recreational activities, and while I wouldn't say there are lots of bars, some nightlife does exist.
