Thrifty - Adviced Needed! Windshield Damage?

While renting in ABQ, a rock hit my windshield and cause a 1/2 inch spider crack. :mad:

When returning, they did not notice the damage.

Should I file a claim with AMEX?

I have had windshield issues in the past with National and Avis, and most of the time they let it slide. I have never rented from Thrify.

Advice anyone?

Last year, I rented a car from Thrifty at LAS. The night before I returned the car, I saw a new, good-sized ding in the driver door. I contacted Diners Club and filed a claim to save me time returning the car. Thrifty never said a word and I cancelled the DC claim.
