I got the same email (re Delta Skymiles Gold business card) and decdied it probably was't an ID theft scam, so I proceeded to the questionaire. After spending around ten minutes on this I got a screen which advised me that they were looking for a different demographic for their survey and that I would not get to participate or get the measly ten bucks offered.
Apparently, Amex has no problem with wasting its cardholders time with phoney requests and promises. Forewarned is forearmed.! :)
Below is the start of the email I got. Note how the YOUR is in caps. But, it doesn't apparently apply to ME. Even though the marketing idiots sent me the email. Don't waste you time on this. :td:

I got the email, took the survey, and wasted my time! I got the same response about them going after a different demographic AFTER I answered a bunch of questions. Way to cheat me out of $10 AMEX!

Standard practice with market research firm. If you had Q then there would have been even more questions.

I've been involved with market research over the years. And, a good rule is don't tick off your good customers doing it. This sure ticked me off.
Why send the email if I am not going to qualify. It's not as though Amex knows nothing about its customers.
