I'm about to hit my 2nd MR DEN-MCI for about 4150 EQM / 8300 RDM in NW on DL this weekend. Did a similar one 3 weeks ago on the $98+ deal from a couple of months back. This will take care of qualifying Silver for next year (I'm not going to maintain NW Gold since I swapped to UA as my primary program this year.)

Originally I planned to stay a couple of days (so not pure MR) and drive a few hours to visit an old friend. However due to making a UA DYMTWTU run to BNA a couple weeks ago I already dropped in on said friend near EVV, so don't want to overstay my welcome.

So this leaves me in MCI from Friday morning (redeye DEN-ATL/ATL-MCI) until my Sunday morning MCI-CVG-ATL-DEN flight, with nothing much to do. I could think about a cheap ST MR for RDMs (or even to tempt me towards going again for Gold), a *A run to get UA EQMs up to 75K for their "choices" promo, or even an AA/ow run to get me close to ow Ruby/LAN Premium (I'm booking AA and other ow to LAN this year due to upcoming discount LAN Argentina flights not eligible for AA credit).

Any ideas?

Or I could just go get some barbecue and catch up on expense reports!

I am looking for the same thing. Of course, most of the decent netsavers/etc have 10/14 day advance. But if anyone knows of something on AA......

COuld just look for WN cities starting Thurs, in non-wright states. Let me know if you see something. Need a whole 6 segments by year end.

There are a couple of interesting SkyTeam runs ex-MCI, but both require either a 14 or 21-day advance purchase.

In case you're still interested, there's a $98+ MCI-DFW on NW and also an $88+ MCI-MKE on DL. Routings left up to the student.
