Interesting and true article. But for Neeleman to say that Jetblue is king of the market in EWR?? Come on....

I'm pretty sure what Neeleman implied was that jetBlue is king of the NYC-Florida market...not solely the EWR-Florida market.

And that is true...after all jetlue serves the following city pairs nonstop with high frequence:

JFK - JAX, SRQ, MCO, TPA, RSW, PBI, FLL
EWR - MCO, TPA, RSW, PBI, FLL
LGA - MCO, PBI, FLL

Airtran announced service from SWF to FLL, TPA, and MCO (along with their new service to their hub ALT) starting in January. Too bad B6 couldn't have jumped on that share of the market to Florida. Nevertheless, mega kudos to JetBlue for jumping on the FLA routes like they have.
