Sorry if already discussed.
Is SQ lounge already open at th enew BKK airport?
If yes, where is it located?
If not, does SQ use TG lounge?

I was at the airport last week.
There is no SQ lounge there - and there will not be one. [So SQ service at the new airport is definately worse than at the old airport.]
SQ uses the TG lounge which is a disaster. I quote from a previous post of mine on the subject:
I was there today (2-4 pm local time) which is definately off-peak hours and just about every seat was taken. I can only imagine what the situation is like in the evening when all the European flights leave. (Yes, I know this should improve once other lounges are on-line.)
I also found the lounge "cheap".
Yes, it's relatively big (long and narrow) but it's inconvenient. The various beverage/food stations have different items so you have trek the whole lounge in search of something. Regardless, the food was practically non-existent (per previous posts), and they did not serve any wine - only beer and hard liquour. (There was however a bar and piano at the entrance which is a nice touch but was not operational in the afternoon.)
None of the computers in the "business center" worked and it had the cheapest furniture imaginable - all the desks I saw had clearly visible stains in the wood (after, what, 2-3 weeks...).
The lounge is not really airside [READ: tarmac-view] as some say, there's no way to see the airside through all the clutter that's between you and airside.
It has been mentioned in another thread that some found the airport unclean. It does certainly look that way - especially the floors - but it is not unclean. It is simply that the airport used substandard material that was damaged during the construction phase and - as I was told - they used cleaning chemicals which ruined the "marble" just before opening.
You cannot miss the lounge - it's located one floor down from the main area and there are signs everywhere...
My advice: arrive as late as possible for your flight

Here's a recent thread on the lounge situation at Suvarnabhumi: http://flyertalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=611470
You might have missed it during search because you misspelled "Suvarnabhumi". :p

I was there last week, in the thai lounge at 9 am. No seats, lukewarm coffee and a real letdown, there was a girl in a singapore uniform nearby directing people to the lounge

I honestly think that we really can't set our expectations to be too high right now. Not only is it a new airport with new facilities, but because of an earlier fire this year, the kitchens are still closed off and being rebuilt. So that means that all of the food that were are seeing are actually still being prepared at Don Muang and trucked over continuously.

obviously the lounge situation at THAI will improve once they open more (only 1 out of planned 7 or so have opened), and will further improve when the catering center at Suvarnabhumi is finished. You cannot really blame malfunction internet, coffee machines when it is only a few week after the real opening! My guess is that when SQ opens its new lounge in SIN T3, there will be similar problems

I'm willing to bet the magnitude of the problems will be markedly lower. :)

And I'm willing to bet that SQ will bend over backwards to cover up these problems by sealing your lips with lots of complimentary champagne/caviar. We tend to overdo things here by setting a very high standard at launches... and then the inevitable slip in standards.
Singaporeans are not very forgiving of shoddy openings like this mess right before a departure gate (http://img177.imageshack.us/img177/6225/bkkseptoct2006267gj9.jpg) at Suvarnabhumi. Its very important that things look good even during a "soft" launch, especially when it is a very high-profiled project. The recent renovations in T2 was all covered up and flushed into the building. During the launch of the newest mall here at Vivocity, lots of locals were pissed when only 60% of the mall was ready for business.

...and that was a soft launch; the real opening is only in December.

And yet a MILLION people have already visited another boring (unfinished) shopping mall.

My point is that I don't agree with Alawyer. Singaporeans seem to be quite forgiving with visiting an unfinished shopping mall. The local news yesterday reported that more than 1 million people (almost 25% of all Singaporeans!) have visited ViVo City in the two weeks that it is open.

Would you rather that the mall be deserted for 2-3 months pending the real opening? Anyway, anticipation and curiousity are just part of human nature. It happens everywhere, not just Singapore.

SQ uses the row K for check-in. Enter via door 5.
TG F lounge is ok although not finished.
SQ uses gates very very near the TG lounge (pier D) which is also very very near immigration when you arrive.

When I was there a couple week ago prior to SQ67 flight, there were only muffins and unappealing snacks. The C section food offering was more interesting for me at that time. The staff offered me drinks once, and never came back. The staff at that time was chatting among themselves by the bar or the receptionist desk.

I departed on SQ67 with the Gate just a very short walk from the F lounge. But when I arrived from NRT couple days prior, the gate was in the middle of the left wing. Thus I had to walk to immigration (like L) pretty far ahead. And the walkaway was full with people who just stood not walked, thus it was faster to walk on the side. And it was a very long walk... like a never ending walk to immigration. :D

More options for food in the F Lounge (near the D gates) now. You indicate which ones you want (tiramisu, the soup of the day, etc.) and they bring your selections to your part of the lounge.
The F Lounge was a stark, civilized contrast compared to the crowding in the Business Class Lounge. I hope there will be other lounges to accommodate the *A flyers with lounge privileges. Otherwise, the Business Class lounges won't do a very good job of de-stressing the travel experience for business people.

Agreed. Concourse D business lounge was packed when I visited.

Any recent update on SQ facilites at BKK... Or is it still the TG lounges?
And a related question: I'll be arriving in F on CX from HKG, and connecting in J on SQ to SIN. (Separate tickets.) I'll be travelling with hand luggage only. And I'm assuming CX at HKG, won't be able to give me the BP for BKK-SIN on SQ. So where would I collect this BP airside from? TG lounge or some transit SQ desk in BKK or something?
I am scheduled to arrive BKK at 1035, and I've booked the SQ flight departing at 1310 (to be safe) as opposed to the 1110 SQ departure. If everything runs like clockwork, and can arrive in time for the earlier flight, who should I ask to be able go stand-by on the earlier flight? (fare is a flexible D fare.)
Thanks!

*A carriers are served by the THAI Lounges.
There is a transit area on international 'airside' (actually 2 I think) located at the eastern (and western) en of Cponcourse D (the main concourse that abuts the checkin/arrival halls). Hopefully the SQ desk will be manned when you arrive.
The SQ transit desk should be able to handle your earlier standby depatrure desires.....

I would ask at the transfer desk upon arrival. However, the lounge attendants have been over the top when asking for assistance...I could not complain even if i wanted too...
