Qatar Airways Privilege Club - QR airport upgrades?

Im flying LHR-DOH-BKK in Y ( K class ticket) , do QR sell upgrades at the aiport? (mainly LHR) ?

I would guess not as i travelled on same route couple of weeks back in business and i enquired what the charge would be to upgrade to first on the LHR-DOH leg the check in agent told me about £900.....i decided to stay in business and got to say best business class experience i have had for a long time.
