From SQ website:
With effect from 28 September 2006, Singapore Airlines operates from the new Suvarnbhumi Airport and Silver Kris Lounge Bangkok had ceased operations from this date. Please proceed to Thai Airway's Royal First Lounge and Royal Silk Lounge at Concourse D. The Lounge Access Policy will be in accordance to the STAR Alliance Lounge Access Policy.
There is nothing to state if SQ will evetually build a lounge of it's own....?

In my opinion, I don't think they will build one. SQ hasn't built a lounge in quite some time. The last one built was a few years back down in Australia. I think they do not see the need to build more lounges if there are other *A lounges nearby.
This may be part of the *A initiative to create a worldwide group of * lounges in hub locations. NRT (NH), ZRH (LX), and LAX (UA) are/will be *A lounges, so this may fit into the grand scheme of things.
Despite the fact that SQ does fly a number of flights into BKK, and because BKK is the hub of Thai, most people will wander into the Thai lounges since it's incredibly large. Hub lounges tend to be the best. I hear it's supposed to be quite wonderful.
The irony of this statement is that the converse isn't true at all. ;)

...I wan't going to mention the SATS Lounge in SIN (which is OK, but not a SKL), but maybe SQ KF Golds fly Y can go to the CIP Lounges instead of TG ROP in BKK!!

the SATS Lounge is not worse than the thai gold lounge at bkk.
i have to say that the food selection in the SATS is better than in the thai lounge.
i think all * Gold should be able to enter the lounge, no execption so there wont be any problems

While UA's lounges are indeed *A, the one at LAX are not the same as *A-shared lounges at ZRH, NRT, etc; for the simple reason that only UA flies from that terminal. The other *A airlines at LAX are spread out over multiple terminals. Perhaps you are thinking of the new *A lounge to be built in LAX TBIT? Even this won't serve all *A (UA, NZ, AC, US are in different terminals).

I was in the TG First lounge on the day the new airport opened ( travelling SQ first).
It was not yet ready for operation: no food, no internet, no computers, no
smoking room, not newspapers, no washrooms.
Hopefully it has improved since then

ZRH offers access for *golds at 2 lounges:
1) the original *-lounge (with a very nice section for LH Sens)
2) the Swiss C-lounge.
It is possible that *lounge will close, like the * ticket office in check-in area 2 will close as well, with most * airlines moving to the Swiss check-in 1.
LH has already moved with a LH separate ticketing desk, while check-in is handled by LX. I heard UA is due to move this fall. Not sure about TG, SQ, OS and SK.

i flew out of BKK yesterday and complained about the horrendous walk from TG F lounge
to the D gates where SQ flights board. they told me they were waiting for some space given to them by the BKK IA authorities to open their own lounges. fingers crossed !
