Just wondering if many kids fly in Air NZ Business Premier these days.

There used to be families in the old Biz from time to time, but just wondered if maybe these days they're more often seen in Premium Economy?

Our own flew the previous service several times and rather fancies his chance of trying the new product :D

I am sure their will be. My eldest has experienced the old J one return trip and F three times. She is in for a rude shock one day when she is old enough to travel in the back cabin by herself.

I have a BP trip coming up next month, I'll be flying solo this time, I always like to see kids on the plane when I don't have my own around. Makes me miss my own more, but makes me feel good to see others.

Almost invariably.... and all ages.

In the 6 BP trips I have made over the last year I can only think of one flight without at least one child in the cabin.

Only note would be that they are invariably European or US citizens. Not too many Kiwi kids upstairs or in the nose..... maybe its a weetbix thing :D

Ours is 10 and has done a number of long haul trips so should be fine. I wil tell him he will be a very lucky boy. I did wonder if the new seating arrangement was less suitable for younger children b/c the 'booths' are more self contained and a parent is not sitting directly alongside?

My kids have Kiwi passports, and are fairly used to flying BP.

The ability to recline flat helps my 2 year old sleep, while the 5 year old loves the kids' movies on offer. Like many an adult, however, he gets fairly shocked when he accidentally presses the recline button by accident.

In terms of seating, as with couples, the airline's recommendation that people sit one in front of another is nonsense: people flying together are best seated across an aisle from one another, so they can at least see each other.

Am travelling BP with my three month old son on Wednesday. Am fretting a little because when I used to see kids in business I would sigh and hope they would be quiet for the flight so I could get some seep! Now I'm a parent and I'll be doing all I can to keep the little fella quiet!! Thankfully it's only to BNE.
