Air New Zealand Air Points - No showers in SFO for the evening flight ?

After searching through the forums, it seems the chances of a shower before NZ7 leaves SFO at 9:30 PM for AKL are fairly remote, even as a *G and flying BP.
UA's RCC, used by Air NZ, doesn't have a shower (though the UA first class lounge does), the SQ lounge does have a shower but is closed early evening. The shower at the "Hairport" closes at 5:00PM (and it costs over US$10).

Is this the case?

Alternative is the RCC in Seattle. Does this have a shower?

Yup it sucks big time. Be sure to log a complaint.

IIRC SEA RCC doesn't have a shower either. Best bet for a shower is turning up early, or use an inexpensive airport hotel (for this I'd allow a minimum of 90 minutes on top of usual connection time).
