Midwest - Can anyone recommend a hotel for the Ohio State game next weekend?

Husband and I are heading down to Columbus next weekend for the Ohio State/BG game. Never spent much time at all down there, can anyone help with hotels?

We plan to hit the bars after the game, are taxis very easy to come by? Or is there some form of public transportation?

There's a good Marriott out by the airport, unless you're an Ohio State fan, I would stay as far away from the stadium as I could -- there's a great WWI fighter pilot themed place to eat near by -- well worth it.
