From tradearabia (http://www.tradearabia.com/tanews/newsdetails_snTTN_article111914_cnt.html) & other sources:
Gulf Air president and chief executive James Hogan will complete his tenure with Gulf Air on September 30.
From October 1, Gulf Air vice-president finance Ahmed Al Hammadi will take over as the airline’s acting president and chief executive.
“Ahmed will take over this role while we finalise our recruitment process for a permanent appointment,” says Gulf Air chairman Abdul Aziz Jassim Kanoo.
“I thank James for his vision and drive over the last four years and wish him well for the future.”
I haven't seen the announcement on the GF website yet (but noticed the Ramadan specials! :D )
