I have been amazed recently how many times I have received free upgrades on GF, in particular on the BKK-MCT or BKK-BAH routes.
Having a J ticket each time, 4 of the last 6 flights I have done (in 2 months) FROM BKK I have always been bumped and at Check-in rather than the boarding gate.
Making things even better - is that there have always been seats in J class when i look back at J class with my cheeky grin!
Is this due to the fact that teh skychefs would have nothing to do and food would go to waste.
Last week on BKK-MCT there were 6 of us, ALL upgraded and 6 empty seats in J class!
Anyone else noticed the same?
I do like Gulf Air!
