I need to buy a one-way ticket from NRT to ICN for my vacation in January. ExpertFlyer and the Asiana Web site are showing the roundtrip fare with a 10-day stay on the date I want to travel at about half the price of the lowest one-way fare ($262 vs. $500+).
Will there be any problems if I buy the roundtrip and fly the outbound segment only? I've done this on US domestic flights many times but never internationally. I'd like to credit the miles to my US Airways account, but that's not all that important for such a short flight if it'd raise any red flags.
From ICN, I will be continuing on to LAX a few days later on a separate ticket, flying on KE.
