I did. I already had one card and received the bonus points when I first opened the account two or three years ago. I recently applied for and received another one and also received the 4,000 point bonus.
BUT my first bill regarding the second card included a full page of language detailing changes to my card, including that as of Oct. 1, 2006 "You may have more than one Starwood Preferred Guest Card from American Express account; however if you have or had any such account, you are not eligible to receive Bonus Starpoints you may be offered for any other such account." I assume this means that after Oct. 1 it won't be possible to get bonus points on more than one card for offers such as signing up for a new card.

This new terms is the reason I had posted this issue. I had applied for a card last week, and got approved. My first statement closing will be sometime in October. Does this October 1 terms & conditions apply to my application, as the application was approved in september, and also the card will be activated in sep as well.
