In one of my travel e-subscriptions, I read about a new service which Hyatt is offering.
WITH MORE TRAVELERS CHECKING BAGS THESE DAYS, HOTELS CONTINUE TO INNOVATE WAYS to make traveling with luggage less of a nuisance. Hyatt is introducing a luggage storage and transportation service at many of its North American properties; for $10, you can check in up to two pieces of luggage at your hotel up to two hours before flight time (and in some cases, as much as 24 hours in advance) and not have to see it again until baggage claim at your destination. Hyatt contracts with Baggage Airline Guest Services to pick up the bags, transport them to the airport, and check them in for you.
For $10, that certainly seems worth it.
So, what about it, Starwood? I consider Starwood's service a big step above Hyatt. This would be a nice addition!
