Hi,
Worried..! Quite urgent --wondering if anyone could tell me how to retrieve a folder with a bunch of files that I have just deleted accidentally and it's gone from recycle bin!
I am using Mac OS X Version 10.4.7 if that helps
Thanks,

I've had good luck, although its been quite a while, with data rescue X
Good luck, I know that feeling well and its not a good one!

I am no computer expert, but did you look in the little trashcan at the lower right of your screen? Usually you can drag things out that way.
Also, use spotlight (upper right -- looks like a magnifying glass) to search everything and find where it might go?
Good luck.

Thanks SpaceBass and climbermom for your quick responses to my urgent plea.
Guess what! Silly me... getting all panicked for nothing!
I found the all-important folder... i must have dragged it into another folder, which was under another subfolder so i could not see it earlier when I was under panic mode.
I did what climbermom suggested and did the Spotlight search and found it immediately.
And SpaceBass, your link was helpful too, as at least now I know that there is Data Recovery software that I can use in the future...
like this link: http://www.prosofteng.com/products/data_rescue.php
(if anyone needs to use it in future, there it is)
That is all. Thanks again!

Looks like you could use a time machine:
